Puneet Singh, founder and Principal Accountant of Nanak Accountants & Associates, was named a finalist in two categories of the 2026 Accountants Daily Rising Stars Awards: Tax and Compliance and Innovator.
The Rising Stars Awards, run by Accountants Daily, recognise individuals making their mark on the Australian accounting profession. Being shortlisted in two of the program’s 17 categories reflects both sides of how Puneet works – technical rigour on tax and compliance, and a willingness to rethink how an accounting firm runs.
Puneet started his accounting career in 2012, completed an MBA and an MPA, and founded Nanak Accountants in 2020 as a one-person practice. The firm now has more than 25 staff and 8 offices across Australia.
