This year marked the awards’ 30th anniversary. A record 177 businesses entered across 13 categories, and 53 were shortlisted. Nanak Accountants was the only accounting practice among the finalists.
For a firm that started in 2020 as a one-person practice working from a garage in Melbourne’s west, it is a milestone our whole team is proud of – and one that belongs to the clients who trusted us first.

What are the Wyndham Business Awards?
The Wyndham Business Awards are run by Wyndham City Council and recognise businesses operating in the City of Wyndham – Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, Point Cook, Tarneit, Truganina and surrounds – one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Australia, home to more than 32,000 registered businesses.
Entries are assessed by an independent panel of judges. The Excellence in Professional & Business Services category recognises firms that set the standard for client service, expertise and professional conduct.
2026 was the 30th year of the awards, with a record 177 entries.
Why did Nanak Accountants win?
The judges’ feedback focused less on size and more on how the firm runs day to day. They were particularly impressed by our use of technology – custom-built CRMs for staff and for clients, a strong website, and what they described as a balanced approach to automation: systems that make life easier for clients without replacing the personal service they came to us for.
